An old hobby that has been turning into quite a commodity! From the interior to exterior, including license plate refinishing we can restore everything! Accessory Restoration License Plate Restoration   We strip the plate clean removing all old original colors. The steel is then polished and primed with an automotive primer. We then apply two base coats of the original or desired color (custom colors available) is applied and the raised letters/numbers are hand painted, then four coats of clear gloss applied. When cured, each plate is wet-sanded and polsihed to achieve maximim brilliance.   Please click on pictures to enlarge! Auto Restoration Bill's Father bought this 1969 Chevrolet Malibu new for $3200 back in his day. Bill has taken this car on as a side hobby project to restore inside and out, into a respectable driver. We will keep the pictures updated as progress is made. Restored to date: All exterior metal panels which have been restored were been chemically stripped down to bare metal, the metal was then sealed, primed and base coat/clear coat applied. After being wet sanded, buffed & polished, all rubber seals and weather stripping was replaced on all windows. Each door has been rebuilt with new handles; small holes in the floor board behind rear seat have been rust treated and fiber glassed in. Engine compartment has been cleaned, degreased and repainted to original. New decals and underhood stickers applied.  Click on pictures to enlarge!
